Mandaza, Todd, Kagoro and other prominent Zimbabweans call for a transitional authority to take Zim out of crisis

New Zimbabwe writes: "

PCC includes academics Ibbo Mandaza, Brian Raftopolous, Rudo Gaidzwana and Temba Dlodlo; human rights activists Thoko Matshe,  Reg Austin and Brian Kagoro; author Judith Todd; Tendai Murisa, Tony Reeler, and Janah Ncube, among others.

The group said they were of the opinion that no election in the current political climate, whether called early or in 2018, could resolve the deep structural deficits in the state. They said no election without considerable reform of the state and the creation of a level playing field could possibly lead to a legitimate outcome.
