Human Rights Commission probes Bulawayo police brutality

New Zimbabwe writes: "

Police swooped on Burombo Hostel and indiscriminately beat up occupants including children after some protesters reportedly fled in the direction of the block of flats.

To smoke out protesters, police threw teargas canisters into the hostel forcing children and women to rush out resulting in them being caught up in the melee.
