Church leaders foresee civil unrest, call for National Dialogue
New Zimbabwe writes: "
HURCH leaders from different denominations have said citizens' grievances must be viewed as an early warning sign indicating underlying and simmering tensions that could soon explode into a civil unrest if not addressed.
They called for a national dialogue and upon government to listen to the citizens' cries and address the plight of the suffering and poor people in the country.
The clerics also urged the government to immediately investigate and prosecute law enforcement agencies that are alleged to have brutalized people and also address genuine concerns of the citizens to avoid a total collapse of the state.
