"Stalemate can't go on forever""New Zimbabwe" writes: A SENIOR adviser on Zimbabwe to South African President Jacob Zuma said on Monday that the country's political stalemate "cannot go on forever", but said new elections would be impossible this year.
"Elections this year are out. We need to create a conducive environment and strengthen institutions," said Lindiwe Zulu, a member of the three-person mediation team for Zimbabwe.
